Mountain chalet U Šumavských Pramenů is located near the town of Kašperské Hory. It offers self-catering accommodation in a common dining room. The property has a garden with a terrace, a barbecue area or a pleasant sitting by the fire. There is free Wi-Fi and free private parking.
Interestingly, the name of our chalet is based on the four mountain springs, which you will be able to draw from for personal consumption.
The nearest restaurant is 50 metres away in the Vogelsang residence. Guests of Chalet U Šumavských Pramenů can use the barbecue facilities in the garden. Popular activities in the surroundings include skiing, cycling, hiking and horse riding.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Arrival at the chalet is possible from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Departure between 9:00 am and 10:00 am.
PARKING
There are free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the chalet.
STAY AT THE CHALET
Movement inside the chalet is possible only in slippers. Please bring your own.
BIKE AND SKI STORAGE
If you have a bike or skis with you, you can use our storage room free of charge.
DINING OPTIONS
Our chalet does not provide breakfast, lunch or dinner. For your own self-catering you can use the new shared stainless steel kitchen equipped with oven, stove and fridge and food storage. The nearest restaurant is just 200 metres from the residence.
You can also take advantage of our range of organic beef for which we can recommend selected recipes.
PETS
Pets are allowed in the chalet only by prior arrangement, dogs depending on their breed.
The fee for a dog is 200 CZK
PAYMENT
For bookings made through an external provider (e.g. booking.com), payment by credit card is made through the provider’s booking system. For direct bookings (phone or email), only payment in advance is possible by bank transfer. Further information will be provided upon booking confirmation. Payment for accommodation is not possible upon arrival. All guests over 18 years of age need to pay city tax – 30 CZK. We accept cash or credit cards.
CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF RESERVATION
Cancellation of a confirmed reservation can only be made in writing (by email). The exact method of cancellation is determined by the booking system used for the reservation. Reservations made through an external provider (e.g. booking.com) can be cancelled in the manner and under the conditions required by the provider.
Changing the booking, i.e. moving the booked services to another date, is considered a cancellation of the original booking and follows the same procedure as cancellation.
In the case of so-called non-refundable bookings, the Chalet will charge the full amount of the stay. In the case of cancellable bookings, the Guest is entitled to cancel his/her reservation free of charge at least three weeks before arrival. In the event of non-arrival of the Guest, the reservation is cancelled and the Chalet is entitled to charge the full cost of the stay, unless otherwise stated.
The Chalet reserves the right to pre-authorise the Guest’s card up to the total amount of the accommodation.
